Elle permet de raccorder un connecteur SC\/UPC \u00e0 un \u00e9quipement compatible sans avoir \u00e0 remplacer l'interface optique existante ni \u00e0 installer un c\u00e2ble de conversion d\u00e9di\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1960\" data-end=\"2202\">La structure d'alignement en c\u00e9ramique et en m\u00e9tal permet de maintenir un positionnement stable de la fibre lors des branchements et d\u00e9branchements r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9s. L'adaptateur prend en charge une plage de longueurs d'onde de fonctionnement comprise entre 1 200 nm et 1 600 nm et est con\u00e7u pour supporter plus de 1 000 cycles d'insertion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2204\" data-end=\"2438\">La d\u00e9signation nominale \u00ab 0 dB \u00bb signifie que l'adaptateur n'introduit pas intentionnellement de valeur d'att\u00e9nuation calibr\u00e9e.
