SC APC vs SC UPC Fiber Adapter

SC APC and SC UPC adapters are not interchangeable in real installation. They are designed for different connector polish types.

Choose SC/APC when your patch cable, splitter, ONU, OLT, terminal box, or fiber equipment uses green SC/APC connectors.

Choose SC/UPC when your equipment and patch cables use blue SC/UPC connectors.

Do not directly mix APC and UPC connector end-faces, because this may cause poor contact, higher insertion loss, stronger reflection, and unstable optical performance.

Before installation, confirm the adapter type and the connector polish type. SC/APC connectors should be connected to SC/APC adapters only.
