8 Port 2.5G Ethernet Switch Overview

The 8 Port 2.5G Ethernet Switch provides eight multi-gigabit RJ45 ports and one 10G SFP+ uplink for building compact high-speed Ethernet networks.

Each RJ45 port supports 10Mbps, 100Mbps, 1Gbps, and 2.5Gbps auto-negotiation, allowing standard Gigabit devices and newer 2.5G equipment to operate on the same network.

The additional 10G SFP+ slot provides a high-bandwidth uplink for a core switch, router, server, NAS, or fiber connection. This helps prevent the uplink from becoming a bottleneck when multiple 2.5G devices are transferring data simultaneously.

With 60Gbps switching capacity and store-and-forward architecture, the switch supports non-blocking line-rate forwarding across all ports.

The unmanaged design requires no software or configuration. Auto-negotiation and Auto MDI/MDIX allow compatible Ethernet devices to connect automatically.

A fanless metal enclosure provides silent operation and passive heat dissipation, making the switch suitable for HomeLab, NAS, small office, desktop and other noise-sensitive environments.
