  2. Dispersion: Similar to G.657.A1, it has good dispersion characteristics in both the 1310nm and 1550nm bands.
  3. Attenuation: The attenuation in the 1550nm band is also close to that of G.652.D.
  4. Structure: G657A2 typically employs a special core and cladding design to enhance its bend insensitivity.
