    Brilliant bit of kit for the price. LACP link aggregation with VLANs is working perfectly. 10GbE fiber connection also working with no problems.

    Not a bad switch. It was quite easy to set, even with some VLAN stuff needing to be configured. Under the unit it states 12V 1A, got delivered with a 2A power supply which feels a bit light.

    The UI is very simple, has most basic L2 settings including VLANs, some QoS and LACP settings. Monitoring wise it lacks any snmp support, also there is no SSH functionality built in. For this reason I’ve given it 4 over 5 stars.

    Performance is fine, running iperf between 2 devices connected on the newtowk I can easily saturate the full 2.5gb bandwidth (average 2.37 Gbits/sec effective). Transferring data between two windows machines on ssd drives I can easily hit 280mb/s.

    Shipment was very fast, ordered on the 16th of April and got it delivered to Italy on the 26th, with two sundays and a week holiday in between. So overall only 7 working days.

    In the future I’d like to see perhaps a better interface, snmp and other remote management support.

    Great upgrade for my home network. Now all the PCs can communicate at 2.5Gbps. The switch feels light and looks great, its power use is quite low (around 10W with 7 ports used).

    The management interface is a bit plain, but it didn’t take long to figure out how things work. Just remember to save the configuration changes and if anything seems to make things slower, you can always reset and restore to a known good state.
