FC to SC Fiber Adapter Overview

The FC to SC Fiber Adapter is a single mode hybrid adapter designed to connect an FC/UPC male equipment interface to an SC/UPC female fiber connector.

Its fixed male-to-female configuration provides a convenient solution when optical equipment uses an FC/UPC port while the existing fiber patch cable uses an SC/UPC connector. The adapter enables direct interface conversion without replacing the equipment port, installing a dedicated hybrid patch cable, or performing fusion splicing.

A zirconia ceramic alignment sleeve helps maintain precise fiber alignment and stable optical transmission. With insertion loss of ≤0.3dB and return loss of ≥50dB, the adapter is suitable for telecom networks, optical communication equipment, fiber test instruments, laboratory systems, and network maintenance applications.

The compact simplex structure is reusable and easy to install. Clean both optical interfaces before connection to reduce contamination-related loss and maintain reliable performance.
