  1. 10G SFP+ DAC is a copper cable with SFP+ connectors at both ends, supporting a maximum speed of 10 Gb/s and backwards compatible with 1 Gb/s. Unlike the Optical module and AOC active optical cable, the DAC sfp cable directly transmits electrical signals through copper wires, while the Optical module and AOC active optical cable convert electrical signals into optical signals for transmission.

  2. 10G sfp dac supports a passive copper cable length of 7m. Due to the pure electric drive of the DAC, the transmission distance is generally not far, unless it is an active cable. After adding an amplifier, the transmission distance will increase.
