1×2 PLC Splitter Overview

The 1×2 PLC Splitter is a passive optical component designed to divide one incoming single mode optical signal evenly between two output fibers.

Based on planar lightwave circuit technology, it provides stable 50:50 optical power distribution across a wide 1260–1650nm operating wavelength range. The 1×2 configuration allows one feeder fiber to serve two optical branches without powered switching equipment.

This model uses 0.9mm single mode G.657A fiber and SC/UPC connectors. The compact mini-module construction is suitable for installation in fiber distribution boxes, wall-mounted enclosures, splice closures, equipment cabinets, and laboratory test systems.

With P Grade insertion loss of ≤4.0dB, uniformity of ≤0.4dB, and polarization dependent loss of ≤0.2dB, the splitter provides stable passive optical signal distribution for FTTH, GPON, EPON, FTTB, passive optical LAN, and telecom networks.
