1×32 PLC Splitter Overview

The 1×32 PLC Splitter is a passive optical component designed to divide one incoming single mode optical signal evenly between thirty-two output fibers.

Based on planar lightwave circuit technology, it provides stable optical power distribution across the 1260–1650nm operating wavelength range. The 1×32 configuration allows one feeder fiber to serve thirty-two optical branches without powered switching equipment or an external power supply.

This version uses 0.9mm single mode ITU-T G.657A fiber and SC/APC connectors. The angled APC connector end faces help reduce optical back reflection, making the splitter suitable for FTTH, GPON, EPON, XG-PON, XGS-PON, passive optical LAN, telecom distribution, and optical monitoring systems.

The compact mini-module construction is suitable for compatible fiber distribution boxes, splice closures, wall-mounted enclosures, equipment cabinets, and optical test systems. Controlled insertion loss, low polarization dependent loss, and high directivity help maintain stable passive signal distribution across all thirty-two output channels.
