1×4 PLC Splitter Overview

The 1×4 PLC Splitter is a passive optical component designed to divide one incoming single mode optical signal evenly between four output fibers.

Based on planar lightwave circuit technology, it provides stable 25:25:25:25 optical power distribution across the 1260–1650nm wavelength range. The splitter allows one feeder fiber to serve four network branches without powered switching equipment or an external power supply.

This model uses 0.9mm single mode fiber and SC/APC connectors. The angled APC connector end face helps reduce back reflection, making it suitable for FTTH, GPON, EPON, FTTB, passive optical LAN, telecom transmission, and optical monitoring systems.

The compact mini-module construction is suitable for fiber distribution boxes, splice closures, wall-mounted enclosures, equipment cabinets, and laboratory systems. Low insertion loss, low polarization dependent loss, and high directivity help provide stable passive optical signal distribution.
