1×2 PLC Splitter Overview

The 1×2 PLC Splitter is a passive optical component designed to divide one incoming single mode optical signal evenly between two output fibers.

Based on planar lightwave circuit technology, it provides stable optical power distribution across a broad 1260–1650nm operating wavelength. The 1×2 configuration is suitable for extending one feeder fiber to two network branches without using powered switching equipment.

This model uses 0.9mm single mode G.657A fiber and SC/APC connectors. The angled SC/APC end face helps reduce back reflection, making the splitter suitable for FTTH, GPON, EPON, FTTB, passive optical LAN, optical monitoring, and telecom distribution applications.

The compact mini-module construction can be installed in fiber distribution boxes, wall-mounted enclosures, splice closures, equipment cabinets, and laboratory test systems. With low insertion loss, low polarization dependent loss, and high directivity, it provides reliable passive signal distribution for access and test networks.
